Well, I did it. I took the whole thing. I usually take half, but this new idea to review gummies has me feeling gutsy.
And yup - it worked. It worked quite well.
But let’s not jump ahead. Let’s start at the very beginning. How does this thing taste?
Good! Really good. The pineapple and mango flavors were bright, fruity, and sweet. The sugary coating smoothed out the tingle on your tongue from the tropical treat.
I could eat several of these things, but I won’t. Because I took one and wowzers I was wonka’d.

Ok, I didn’t lift off the ground, at least not at first.
First, Destinee and I decided to go on a long walk around Lady Bird Lake.
At min 45, it’s safe to say I was 60% to the top.
You know something I noticed I first moved to Austin as a college freshman in 2013?
You can’t be high outside in Austin and not see something strange or hilarious.
An older man doing a wheelie on a bicycle through West Campus confirmed this for me once.
More than 10 years later, even with all of the changes in Austin, this still holds true.
This particular high stroll, we just so happened to walk by Lex Friedman.
The THC choking my last brain cell
I told Destinee that seeing somebody who had talked to so many influential people was wild. She thought it was fine—she doesn’t see the point in getting starstruck.
I wouldn’t say I was “starstruck,” I would say I was but “podcaster-punched.”
At an hour, I was 80% of the way there. About as stoned as I was when I took the Urb Dragonberry Lemonade gummy.
We crossed the Congress Bridge and saw everybody waiting for the bats. We joked about waiting to see them, but we decided against it. These gummies aren’t that good.
By hour two, we were back home mashing potatoes to pair with the roast in the oven. All we had to use was this industrial-grade potato masher, which I kept as a memory from managing this small Italian restaurant after college.
I’m happy with the life I’ve built since then.
Overall, this gummy was a great time. I absolutely got way higher than I typically like to, but the vibes were overall positive. And sometimes, it’s fun to be totally zonked.
But I’ll be doing a half dose of these going forward.
